PLACING AN ORDER WITH SKATESUS.COM
Placing an order is simple! We accept orders over the web at www.SkatesUS.com and over the phone. The office is open Monday-Friday (excluding major holidays) from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time. Upon placing your order, you will be asked to verify your contact and shipping information and to supply your payment information.
SkatesUS.com accepts all major credit cards including MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. PayPal is also accepted by SkatesUS.com. We do not accept COD or check as a method of payment. SkatesUS.com is able to ship your order only after payment is received and verified. We would like to ship your order as quickly as possible, so please help us out by keeping your shipping and payment information up to date!

Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Indiana, as required by Indiana State Law. The Indiana state sales tax rate is currently 7.0%.
Orders are accepted online at www.SkatesUS.com by adding the desired item(s) to your cart and checking out. Payment will be automatically collected once you confirm your order selection at the checkout. You will receive an email confirmation of the purchase. Please note that email confirmation does not translate to order acceptance. SkatesUS.com reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. Prompt shipping may be based on product availability, credit card verification, verification of address, and/or completeness of an order. Verification of billing and/or shipping information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. In instances where we are unable to ship your order as purchased, a representative will contact you with further information within 24 hours of placing the order online through www.SkatesUS.com. Please note that international credit cards are not accepted and the order will not be processed.
Also note that shipping is calculated in terms of business days, including expedited preferences. Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
Orders can be placed by calling the Order Desk at (765) 935-7477 during normal business hours. At this time, our Customer Service Representative will collect payment information. Your account will be charged when the items are ready to ship from our warehouse. Orders left on the answering machine will not be processed.
ISSUES WITH PAYMENT
We are unable to ship any merchandise unless payment is received, therefore we will contact you for up-to-date payment information in instances where the current method of payment is declined. Should we be unsuccessful in our attempt to collect the updated payment information, the order will be canceled, and the item(s) returned to the shelf for resale. Please note that international credit cards are not accepted and the order will not be processed.
PLACING A BACK ORDER
A back order is created when an item you want is not in stock. Some items may be out of stock at the time you place your order. With an exception to special order requests, if the item is out of stock we guarantee it is already on order with the manufacturer! If the manufacturer is out of stock, we will provide you with an estimated time of delivery. You are then free to make the decision of whether to wait for the item (create a back order) or cancel
the order. With the exception of online orders, your account will not be charged until the back order has been filled and is ready to ship.
The EDEA and Roll-Line product lines are manufactured in Italy. Therefore, an item not in stock at the warehouse, and not available at the factory, may take approximately 6-8 weeks for the manufacturer to produce and ship, depending on product demand, and production dates established by the manufacturer. Special order requests [EDEA], such as a special order “B”, “D”, or “E” width, may take approximately 8-14+ weeks for the manufacturer to produce and ship, depending on their production schedule for the requested size, color, and model. Custom order widths are not available in EDEA roller models.
SHIPPING POLICIES & PROCEDURES FROM SKATESUS.COM
Most items ship directly from our warehouse within 48 hours from the time of order, and will be processed on a first-ordered, first-shipped basis, with exceptions made to expedited shipping requests. Some items may be out of stock at the time you place your order. If the item is not already on order, we will order it for you on the same day. If the manufacturer is out of stock, we will provide you with an estimated time of delivery. You are then free to make the decision of whether to wait for the item or cancel the order.

Please note: The statement above is the worst-case scenario. Most of all back orders ship within a few weeks. This means we will provide you with your back order anywhere within 2 to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, with the exception of special order requests. During peak times of the year there may be an extended list of backorders. Please take this into consideration when placing orders around dates of major competitions and holidays.
All orders are shipped UPS, FedEx, or USPS and should reach all states in the continental U.S. within 1 to 5 business days. For your convenience, all orders through Skates U.S., Inc. are shipped with delivery confirmation tracking numbers. UPS, FedEx, or USPS charges are added to the invoice at time of shipping. Online orders provide a receipt when placed and tracking info is on the sales receipt when shipped.
SkatesUS.com will not ship to any country on the U.S. Department of Treasury sanction list. International shipping is not currently offered on www.skatesus.com. SkatesUS.com would be happy to ship to any domestic address provided.
Please note: Our credit card processing system does not accept cards tied to an international address.
For your convenience, all order confirmations are automatically emailed when an order is shipped. You may also receive a payment confirmation when SkatesUS.com receives the payment for the order.
RETURN POLICIES & PROCEDURES FROM SKATESUS.COM
We want you to be happy with your order and SkatesUS.com will do everything we can to take care of you! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we welcome you to return it within a fair amount of time for a refund or an exchange.
To prevent any delays in the return process, SkatesUS.com requires an invoice reference or receipt for ALL items being returned, credited, or exchanged. Please contact SkatesUS.com by emailing OrderDesk@SkatesUS.com to receive your Return Authorization Number (RA #). You will need the invoice number for your purchase to be referenced in your email request for an RA #. Shipping costs on returned items are the responsibility of the customer.
ALL returned item(s) must be in new condition. “New” is defined as unused, unaltered, undamaged, and included in the original packaging, which is also unused, unaltered, and undamaged, together with all components and documentation. This includes, but is not limited to laces, storage straps, boot bags, mounting hardware, toe stops and cushions, as applicable to your purchase. A copy of your original invoice or its Invoice # and your RA # are to be included as your required documentation.
Once SkatesUS.com receives the item(s) and we have confirmed that the item(s) is in new condition and includes all the proper components, your original form of payment will be refunded for the monetary amount of the purchased item(s). The original shipping fees will not be refunded. We will then email you a returned merchandise receipt.
All returns and exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To avoid a restocking fee, make sure the item(s) you are returning is complete with all components and packed just as you received it. Make sure the item(s) is in new and unused condition. Note that “new” is defined as unused, unaltered, undamaged, and included in the original packaging, which is also unused, unaltered, and undamaged, together with all components and documentation. A 20% restocking fee may also be applied in instances when the required documentation is not included with the item(s) returned or exchanged. Required documentation is a reference to the original Invoice # and the RA #.
We will willingly refund a purchase to the original form of payment used for the purchase if the item is A) returned within 60* business days from the date listed on the original receipt, B) returned undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, and C) returned in the original packaging, which is also undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, including all components and documentation. Please email SkatesUS.com at OrderDesk@SkatesUS.com prior to returning your item(s). You will need the invoice number to be referenced in your email request for an RA #. Shipping costs on returned items are the responsibility of the customer.
A refund is termed by SkatesUS.com as compensation paid back to a customer for over-invoicing or for a returned product. A copy of your original invoice or its Invoice # and your RA #, if applicable, are required documentation for all refunds, no exceptions.
Once confirmed by SkatesUS.com, the refund will be applied to the original form of payment for the purchase. Please be advised that a credit to your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account may take anywhere from 2 to 30 days, depending on your financial institution. Please see our “Return Policy” for more information.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM OR DISCONTINUED ITEMS
All special-order merchandise, discontinued models, or closeout items are not eligible for a refund, credit, or exchange. All such sales are final. Special order merchandise includes, but is not limited to: E width boots, Crazy Skates, obsolete models of wheels, discontinued models of boots, “seconds”, “altered” items, etc. Please note in the case of other special-order merchandise, a customer will be told in advance that such an item is special order and not eligible for return, credit, or exchange.
We will willingly exchange for an item(s) if the item(s) is A) exchanged within 60 days* from the date listed on the original receipt, B) returned undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, and C) returned in the original packaging, which is also undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, including all components and documentation. Skates US, Inc. defines an exchange as a transaction involving the return of one item for another of equal value or similar type.
Prior to sending your item(s) for exchange, please contact SkatesUS.com by emailing OrderDesk@SkatesUS.com to receive your Return Authorization Number (RA #). You will need the invoice number for your purchase to be referenced in your email request for an RA #. Shipping costs on items returned for exchange are the responsibility of the customer.
* After 60 days from the date listed on the invoice, the item(s) purchased are not eligible for an exchange, an in-store credit, or a refund and will not be accepted back under any circumstances.
RETURNS POLICY WHEN A SUSPECTED ISSUE WITH AN ITEM IS INVOLVED
It is the intention of Skates U.S. to be of assistance to a skater in an extremely timely manner when an issue with an item is experienced by a skater. We are committed to having a skater off the ice or out of the rink for the shortest time possible.
If you think there may be an issue with an item you have purchased from a Skates U.S. Authorized Dealer, please return the item to or contact the dealer to resolve the issue. If purchased from Skates U.S. or contact with the dealer isn’t possible, please do not hesitate to contact Skates U.S. by emailing SupportServices@SkatesUS.com about your concern.
Skates U.S. may at its discretion ask you to take the item to the Authorized Dealer from whom you purchased the item. Or we may ask you to take the item to the Authorized Dealer who is the closest to your current location. Returning your item to the Authorized Dealer will make the possible exchange of the item faster and of less cost to you.
The Skates U.S. Authorized Dealer will assist you by taking pictures of the item for our inspection and determination of whether there is an issue with the item.
If Skates U.S. is able to confirm an issue with the item using the pictures from the dealer, then a replacement item will be provided immediately. As long as a replacement item is in stock at Skates U.S., the replacement item will be shipped by the end of the next business day using ground services. Replacement items will be shipped to the Skates U.S. Authorized Dealer. Note: Any request for expedited shipping would have to be paid for by the customer.
The replacement item is to be the same model, size, color, etc. as the original item being replaced. No requests for an exception to this policy will be approved by Skates U.S. However, at the discretion of Skates U.S. in instances with the exact replacement item being out of stock at Skates U.S. and/or the manufacturer, we may provide other options to you.
After the dealer has received your replacement item you will need to confirm with the dealer that the new item is acceptable. The dealer will need to keep the original item as proof that you only have possession of the new, replaced item.
If Skates U.S. is not able to discern the issue with your product using the photographs, or there is not a Skates U.S. Authorized Dealer near your location:
Under the above referenced situation, you will have two options for a possible exchange of the item.
#1. You return the item to Skates U.S. with a ground shipping label provided by Skates U.S. Upon receipt, Skates U.S. will inspect your returned item and communicate with you concerning our determination of the situation. Again, we state that it is our intention to take care of your issue in an extremely timely manner.
#2. You choose to expedite an exchange of the item by purchasing the same item again. Using the www.SkatesUS.com web store, you order the exact same item. *Please note: The new purchase is required to be the exact same model, size, width, color, design, etc. as your current item. No exceptions to this policy will be approved by Skates U.S.
When placing your order, please make an Order Note stating that you are requesting an exchange for an item with an issue.
When Skates U.S. ships your new purchase we will include a return shipping label for the return of the original item. To ensure that you will receive a refund for your original purchase, you must return the original item back to Skates U.S. within 10 days of receiving your new item.
After Skates U.S. receives your returned item it will be inspected, and a determination will be made. If the item is indeed unusable for its intended purpose, the form of payment for your original purchase will be refunded for the item and its shipping charges.
If it is determined that the returned item is within the standards for its intended purpose, you will receive an immediate communication from Skates U.S. to discuss the situation.
Skatesus.com Edea Boot Sizing Trial Program
SkatesUS.com offers the Boot Sizing Trial Program as a courtesy to its customers. This service will give you the confidence to purchase the best high end boots and Skate Packages available. SkatesUS.com will send un-mounted Skating Boots for sizing purposes, upon request and payment with the associated conditions:
SkatesUS.com will charge the full price of the boots, per pair of boots sent for sizing, with a maximum of three (3) pairs sent at a time.
The Boot Sizing Trial Program is for boots only. If boots are returned for blades/plates, the customer pays the final shipping charges.
The Boots Sizing Trial Program is only available to the contiguous United States.
SkatesUS.com accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express as payment methods. SkatesUS.com also accepts PayPal.
The customer pays for the original outbound shipping. SkatesUS.com pays for the inbound (return) shipping and for up to three (3) round trips, until the customer has the correct size.
SkatesUS.com will include a return shipping label in the box. All the customer has to do is repackage the box and either drop off the package at the shipping location OR notify the correct carrier that the shipment is ready for pick up.
The customer has 10 days from the date of the invoice to return the boots to SkatesUS.com.
The boots must be returned in “Like New Condition”, including each individual boot box. It is highly suggested that when trying on the boots, stay on a carpeted surface. If the boots are NOT returned within the 10 day time period OR they are not in “Like New Condition”, including each individual boot box, SkatesUS.com will assume that the customer will be keeping the boots and that the transaction is complete. If boots are returned in unsatisfactory or incomplete condition a 20% restocking fee may be applied. If boots are returned for refund, a restock fee of up to $100. may be applied.
If multiple pairs were purchased, any payments will go towards the purchase of the boots. All boots returned in accordance with the 10 day period and in “Like New Condition”, including each individual boot box, will be credited back to the original form of payment after deducting for the purchase of the boots that have been kept and any potential restock fee(s). NO cash refunds.

SkatesUS.com is not liable for product damage due to the misuse and/or misunderstanding of the EDEA product line. Customers are encouraged to seek out information on the features and differences of the EDEA product line as compared to traditional leather boots. The EDEA product line is not considered a traditional leather boot, nor should it be fitted, laced, shaped, or heated like a traditional leather boot. Any damage received from lack of understanding or misuse on the customer’s end or through an unauthorized seller is non-refundable, non-returnable, non-creditable, and non-exchangeable. However, we encourage you to contact us for possible solutions.
