PLACING AN ORDER WITH SKATESUS.COM
Placing an order is simple! We accept orders over the web and over the phone. The office is open Monday-Friday (excluding major holidays) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time. Upon placing your order, you will be asked to verify your contact and shipping information, and supply your payment information.
SkatesUS.com accepts all major credit cards including MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept COD or check as a method of payment. SkatesUS.com is able to ship your order only after payment is received and verified. We would like to ship your order as quickly as possible, so please help us out by keeping your shipping and payment information up to date!
Prices are subject to change without notice. Items will be billed at the price in effect at time of shipment. If unsure about the price or availability of an item, please visit the respected pages on www.skatesus.com or call our Order Line at (765) 935-7477 during business hours to speak with a representative.
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Indiana, as required by Indiana State Law. The Indiana state sales tax rate is currently 7.0%.
Orders are accepted online at www.skatesus.com by adding the desired item(s) to your cart and checking out. Payment will be automatically collected once you confirm your order selection at the checkout. You will receive an E-mail confirmation of the purchase. Please note that E-mail confirmation does not translate to order acceptance. SkatesUS.com reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. Prompt shipping may be based on product availability, credit card verification, verification of address, and/or completeness of an order. Verification of billing and/or shipping information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. In instances where we are unable to ship your order as purchased, a representative will contact you with further information within 24 hours of placing the order online through www.skatesus.com. Also note that shipping is calculated in terms of business days, including expedited preferences. Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
Orders can be placed by calling our Order Line at (765) 935-7477 during normal business hours. At this time, our Customer Service Representative will collect payment information. Your account will be charged when the items are ready to ship from our warehouse. Orders left on the answering machine will not be processed and must be confirmed by speaking to a representative or by ordering online.
ISSUES WITH PAYMENT
We are unable to ship any merchandise unless payment is received, therefore we will contact you for up-to-date payment information in instances where the current method of payment is declined. Should we be unsuccessful in our attempt to collect the updated payment information, the order will be canceled, and the item(s) returned to the shelf for resale. Please note that international credit cards are not accepted and the order will not be processed.
PLACING A BACK ORDER
A back order is created when an item you want is not in stock. Some items may be out of stock at the time you place your order. With an exception to special order requests, if the item is out of stock we guarantee it is already on order with the manufacturer! If the manufacturer is out of stock, we will provide you with an estimated time of delivery. You are then free make the decision of whether to wait for the item (create a back order) or cancel the order. With the exception of online orders, your account will not be charged until the back order has been filled and is ready to ship.
The EDEA and Roll-Line product lines are manufactured in Italy. Therefore, an item not in stock at the warehouse, and not available at the factory, may take approximately 2-14+ weeks for the manufacturer to produce and ship, depending on product demand, and production dates established by the manufacturer. Special order requests [EDEA], such as a special order “B”, “D”, or “E” width, may take approximately 8-14+ weeks for the manufacturer to produce and ship, depending on their production schedule for the requested size, color, and model. Custom order widths are not available in EDEA roller models.
SHIPPING POLICIES & PROCEDURES FROM SKATESUS.COM
Most items ship directly from our warehouse within 48 hours from the time of order, and will be processed on a first-ordered, first-shipped basis, with exceptions made to expedited shipping requests. Some items may be out of stock at the time you place your order. If not already on order, we will order the item for you on the same day. If the manufacturer is out of stock, we will provide you with an estimated time of delivery. You are then free to make the decision of whether to wait for the item or cancel the order. Many new products are released each year, as many of the older products are being phased out.

Please note: The statement above is “worse case scenario.” 95% of all back orders ship within 1 week. We will provide you with your back order anywhere within 1 to 2 weeks from the date of purchase, with the exception of special order requests. During peak times of the year there may be an extended list of backorders. Please take this into consideration when placing orders around dates of major competitions and holidays.
FREE ON BOARD (FOB) SHIPPING
FOB is a term that means the buyer accepts responsibility of product being delivered by the supplier. SkatesUS.com is not liable for any product once it leaves our warehouse. If you receive a product damaged in shipping, please immediately place a claim with the carrier (FedEx or UPS). SkatesUS.com ensures that all packages are inspected and in good condition before they leave our warehouse.
All orders are shipped FedEx or UPS, and will reach all states in the continental U.S. within 1 to 5 business days. FedEx or UPS charges are added to the invoice at time of shipping, with exceptions made to online orders.
SkatesUS.com will not ship to any country on the U.S. Department of Treasury sanction list. International shipping is not currently offered on www.skatesus.com. SkatesUS.com would be happy to ship to any domestic address provided.
Please note: Our credit card processing system does not accept cards tied to an international address.
For your convenience, all order confirmations are automatically sent when an order is placed. You may also receive a payment confirmation when SkatesUS.com receives the payment for the order. If you do not receive an order confirmation within 24 hours, please E-mail us at OrderDesk@SkatesUS.com or call our Order Line to speak with one of our representatives about the status of your order. If you used a credit card tied to an international address, you will need to call back with a card issued and registered in the U.S.
RETURN POLICIES & PROCEDURES FROM SKATESUS.COM
We want you to be happy with your order, and will do everything we can to take care of you! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we welcome you to return it within a fair amount of time for a refund or an exchange!
To prevent any delays in the return process, SkatesUS.com requires an invoice reference or receipt for ALL items being returned, credited, or exchanged. Shipping costs on returned items are the responsibility of the customer. Once SkatesUS.com receives the item(s), your card will be refunded the purchased amount. We will then send you a returned merchandise receipt. SkatesUS.com retains the right to make the final determination regarding goods deemed “defective,” or in instances where the item in question does not have the appearance of normal wear and service. New is defined as unused, unaltered, undamaged, and included in the original packaging, which is also unused, unaltered, and undamaged, together with all components and documentation.
All returns and exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To avoid a restocking fee, make sure the item(s) you are returning are complete with all components, and are packed just as you received them. Make sure the item(s) are in new and unused condition. A 20% restocking fee may also be applied in instances of missing invoice numbers for product returns or exchanges. Note that new is defined as unused, unaltered, undamaged, and included in the original packaging, which is also unused, unaltered, and undamaged, together with all components and documentation.
We will willingly refund a purchase to the card used for the original purchase as long as the item is a) returned within 60 business days from the date listed on the receipt, b) returned undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, and c) returned in the original packaging, which is also undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, including all components and documentation. Please call and speak to a representative about returning your item(s).
A refund is termed by SkatesUS.com as compensation paid back to a customer for over-invoicing or for returned product. An invoice number or a copy of the invoice is required for all refunds, no exceptions. Once confirmed by SkatesUS.com, the refund will be applied to the card where the purchases were charged. Please be advised that refunds to both credit and debit cards may take anywhere from 2 to 30 days, depending on your financial institution. Please see our “Return Policy” for more information.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM OR DISCONTINUED ITEMS
All special order merchandise, discontinued, or closeout items may not be returned for refund, credit, or exchange. All sales are final. Special order merchandise includes, but is not limited to: Non-standard width boots, Crazy Skates, obsolete models of wheels, obsolete models of boots, etc.
We will willingly exchange for an item(s) as long as the item(s) is a) exchanged within 60 days* from the date listed on the receipt, b) returned undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, and c) returned in the original packaging, which is also undamaged, unaltered, and in new condition, including all components and documentation. Skates US, Inc. defines an exchange as a transaction involving the return of one item for another of equal value or similar type. Please call and speak to a representative about exchanging your item(s).
* After 60 days from the date listed on the invoice, the item(s) purchased are not eligible for an exchange, an in-store credit, or a refund, and will not be accepted back under any circumstances.
Skatesus.com Edea Boot Sizing Trial Program
SkatesUS.com offers a very unique service to our customers we call the Boot Sizing Trial Program. The objective is to provide you with the confidence in knowing you have made the right decision in your size and model selection.
How do I partake in this offer?
Before placing your order, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. During your consultation you will be instructed on how to place your order. You cannot use the Boot Sizing Trial Program without completing this step.
Once completed, we will send you your initial order with a return label. Try the boot on and take note of how it feels: Is it too long? Too short? Too wide or narrow*? If the boot does not meet your preference, send it back and specify if you would like the next size up or down. Once we receive this pair back, we will send you the next size and cover shipping, up to an additional 2 total exchanges. It’s that easy!
*EDEA boots are commonly stocked in a standard “C” width in the ball of the foot with a “B” width in the heel. If the length is correct, but the boot feels tight, painful, or too big, the boot needs to be customized by shaping the micro carbon structure. We would be happy to shape the purchased boot for you, free of charge, once specifications are confirmed. If you believe shaping would resolve the issue, please contact us so we can collect the information we need to shape the boot. For shaping, SkatesUS.com will use the tracing originally sent for sizing along with your feedback, so please make sure the tracing is as accurate as possible! SkatesUS.com will charge the full price of the boots, plus initial shipping, at time of shipment and will include a return label upon request. Through this program, the customer pays for the original outbound shipping plus the price of the boots. Skate US, Inc. will cover the remaining shipping charges up to two (2) additional exchanges. The customer must return the boots within 60 days, as outlined in our Exchange Policy. If the boots are not returned within 60 days, they are not eligible for refund or exchange. If returned, and the boots and/or components are in less than “New” condition, or missing components, the items will be removed from this program and the transaction will proceed with normal charges for outbound shipping, and item(s) will be subjective to a restocking fee upon their return.
SKATESUS.COM PRODUCT SUPPORT
SkatesUS.com will do everything possible to ensure quality assurance and support. If you receive a damaged or “defective” item, an incorrect item, or something is missing please call or E-mail one of our representatives immediately to report the error. In instances where a product is suspected of having a “defect,” we will collaborate directly with the manufacturer to determine perceived issues with the product, which means an immediate answer is not always available. However, we will do our best to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. For all requests, please include the invoice number or a copy of the receipt in order to help speed up the process.
Please note that if the requested item is not returned to SkatesUS.com within 60 days from the date of receipt or written correspondence (unless otherwise authorized by a SkatesUS.com representative), SkatesUS.com will take no further action and the request will be considered complete.

Customers are encouraged to seek out information on the features and differences of the EDEA product line as compared to traditional leather boots. The EDEA product line is not considered a traditional leather boot, nor should it be fitted, laced, shaped, or heated like a traditional leather boot. Any damage received from lack of understanding or misuse on the customer’s end or through an unauthorized seller is non-refundable, non-returnable, non-creditable, and non-exchangeable. However, we encourage you to contact us for possible solutions.
