TECHNOMICRO HI-TECH OUTER
The outer layer of Ice Fly uses Technomicro, a composite microfiber thinner than silk. It is lighter, stronger, and more water-resistant than old materials. It is also easier to clean as it is stain resistant.
H.A.R. MESH
Ice Fly uses a specially treated mesh to add strength while keeping the boot lightweight. H.A.R. (High Abrasion Resistant) single weave thread is durable and keeps its integrity.
THERMOFORMABLE SUPPORT
A lightweight tri-layer construction gives greater strength and better support than a single material. Through a superior elastic memory, it gives unrivalled cushioning. Being thermoformable, it also allows skilled technicians to provide an instant custom fit for your Ice Fly boots.
MEMORY FOAM
High density memory foam gives the ultimate experience in comfort. It supports your feet, allowing micro movements to give you better control and feel. It maintains its shape giving you the perfect fit every time.
INNER AIR-TECH LINING
The inner lining of Ice Fly is an Air-Tech mesh fabric. This uses a single thread to create an inner chamber for natural insulation and air cooling. Being moisture resistant, it also improves hygiene.

The longer heel arch was inspired by Roman aqueducts and is designed to distribute forces over a longer axis and give the skater more control.
HOOKS FOR LACING
Galvanized carbon steel hooks have been lowered, lengthened, and repositioned to improve lacing by wrapping the ankles and increasing movement range.

THE FAMILY HISTORY
Skating is the family legacy, uniting the generations. Their grandfather started in his workshop making tailor-made shoes for the local residents and he garnered a reputation for making quality shoes. The next generation of the family was able to build on this excellence and created a successful skate company. It was only natural that the third generation would want to continue the search for the perfect skate.
Infused with the family passion, Sabrina started her own company with its unique philosophy in search of skating perfection. After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and her team of experts, the first Edea boots were released on February 2, 2002.
