TECHNOMICRO HI-TECH OUTER

The outer shell is made from Technomicro Hi-Tech, which is light, strong, and flexible. The composite microfiber is made from a thread thinner than silk, which is also stain resistant and easier to clean.

H.A.R. MESH

Flamenco adds support by using a specially treated mesh. The H.A.R. (High Abrasion Resistant) single weave thread is both durable and lightweight.

THERMOFORMABLE SUPPORT

The superior elastic memory of the tri-layer materials gives unrivalled flexibility and support. Being thermoformable, it also allows skilled technicians to create an instant custom fit for your Flamenco boots.

MEMORY FOAM
High density memory foam supports your foot allowing micro movements to give you better control and feel. It maintains its shape providing the perfect fit every time.

INNER AIR-TECH LINING

The inner lining of Flamenco is an Air-Tech mesh fabric. The single thread makes it soft, moisture resistant, and more hygienic. It traps air for natural cooling making it quick drying.

RESPONSIVE FOOTBED FOR POWER

Power transmission is increased and reaction time reduced by the innovative honeycomb footbed. Lighter, stronger, and providing greater control, Flamenco is the ideal dance partner.

THINNER SOLE AND VENTILATED

Improved balance and feeling comes from the lower center of gravity created by the thinner sole. As you skate the edges, the ventilation keeps you cool.

LONGER ARCH FOR MORE CONTROL

The longer heel arch was inspired by Roman aqueducts and is designed to distribute forces over a longer axis to give you more control.

HOOKS FOR LACING

Increased movement range is created by moving, lowering, and lengthening the galvanized carbon steel hooks. This improves lacing and wraps your feet so you are ready to dance.

SHAPED SOLE FOR PERFORMANCE

Edea’s active ventilation system uses foot movements to pump air around the boot, providing fresh air to your skating. 178 holes are carefully drilled and positioned throughout the boot for maximum air flow.

Innovation, Italian style, and modern craftmanship is the essence of Edea and is part of every skate they make.

THE FAMILY HISTORY

Skating is the family legacy, uniting the generations. Their grandfather started in his workshop making tailor-made shoes for the local residents and he garnered a reputation for making quality shoes. The next generation of the family was able to build on this excellence and created a successful skate company. It was only natural that the third generation would want to continue the search for the perfect skate.

Infused with the family passion, Sabrina started her own company with its unique philosophy in search of skating perfection. After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and her team of experts, the first Edea boots were released on February 2, 2002.

THE FUTURE

Skaters are always moving, pushing the art of what is possible. Each skater’s spins, twizzles and jumps are research, development, and testing for Edea. New materials, technology and thinking means the impossible is just an idea away. Their constant search for perfection means they stay ahead of the ordinary.
