TECHNOMICRO OUTER

The outer shell of the Ritmo is made from Technomicro, a composite microfiber with a thread thinner and stronger than silk. It is lightweight for performance and stain resistant for easy cleaning.

THERMOFORMABLE SUPPORT

Lightweight tri-layer materials provide greater strength and better support. The superior elastic memory gives unrivalled cushioning. Being thermoformable, it also allows skilled technicians to provide an instant custom fit for your Ritmo boots.

MEMORY FOAM
High density memory foam provides the ultimate comfort. It supports your feet, allowing micro movements that give you better control and feel. It maintains its shape, giving you the perfect fit every time.

SH MICROFIBER LINING

SH microfiber is a combination of natural and synthetic fibers to provide the best in comfort, durability, and quick drying. This is achieved through the close weave.

RESPONSIVE FOOTBED FOR POWER

The footbed is an innovative honeycomb design making it lighter and stronger. This increases power transmission and reduces response time, which provides greater control.

SHAPED SOLE FOR PERFORMANCE

The new Freedom range has a shaped sole with raised toes for better feeling and greater control. Feel the edges, feel the rhythm.

LONGER ARCH FOR MORE CONTROL

The longer heel arch was inspired by Roman aqueducts and is designed to distribute forces over a longer axis to give you more control.

HOOKS FOR LACING

Galvanized carbon steel hooks have been lowered, lengthened, and repositioned to improve lacing by wrapping the ankles and increasing movement range.

FULL VENTILATION

Ventilation holes in the boot and sole combine to create Edea’s active ventilation system. Your feet movement pumps air in and out, creating airflow and cooling your feet.

THE FAMILY HISTORY

Skating is the family legacy, uniting the generations. Their grandfather started in his workshop making tailor-made shoes for the local residents and he garnered a reputation for making quality shoes. The next generation of the family was able to build on this excellence and created a successful skate company. It was only natural that the third generation would want to continue the search for the perfect skate.

Infused with the family passion, Sabrina started her own company with its unique philosophy in search of skating perfection. After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and her team of experts, the first Edea boots were released on February 2, 2002.

THE FUTURE

Skaters are always moving, pushing the art of what is possible. Each skater’s spins, twizzles and jumps are research, development, and testing for Edea.
