BEAUTY AND STRENGTH

The EDEA SHOWGIRL FOUR HOOK boots are the new take on the traditional Concerto boots. The SHOWGIRL FOUR HOOK boots are beautiful tan boots designed by Skates U.S. and EDEA for high performance in the rigors of professional show skating and competitive dance skating. SHOWGIRL boots have the 4-hook lacing system and combine the strength of the Ice Fly along with the beauty, comfort, and low-cut back of the Flamenco Ice to create a pair of boots that make it the ideal choice for show skaters or high-level dance skaters.

Extra strong support provides the needed strength for show skating with the desired comfort.

HOOKED ON PERFORMANCE

Red inlay in the sole with embedded crystals gives a flourish of passion.

GRACEFUL TOE POINTS

The lower cut back gives support for jumping while also allowing for a wonderful toe point.

E-SHELL

An innovation that can help extend the life of the boots. When the tongue becomes too flexible the E-Shell can be placed in the tabs for added support.

EDEA E-Shells are NOT intended to be used on new skates, they are to help EXTEND the life of the skates.

LACES

Laces are an integral part of the Edea boot system. Skates U.S. recommends changing laces every 80 hours of skating. Replace your laces sooner than this schedule if you notice wear, fraying and/or stretching of your laces. ONLY use EDEA Laces in your EDEA Boots.

Improper lacing and worn-out laces can cause premature boot failure.

H.A.R. MESH

ShowGirl Four Hook uses a specially treated mesh to add strength while keeping the boot lightweight. H.A.R. (High Abrasion Resistant) single weave thread is more durable and keeps its integrity.

THERMOFORMABLE SUPPORT

A lightweight tri-layer construction gives greater strength and better support than just a single material. Through a superior elastic memory, it gives unrivalled cushioning. Being thermoformable, it allows your boots to be shaped for a custom fit.

MEMORY FOAM

High density memory foam gives ultimate comfort.
It supports your feet allowing micro movements to give better control and feel. It maintains its shape giving you the perfect fit every time.

INNER AIR-TECH LINING

The inner lining is an Air-Tech mesh fabric. This uses a single thread to create an inner chamber for natural insulation and air cooling. Being moisture resistant, it also improves hygiene.

RESPONSIVE FOOTBED FOR POWER

An innovative honeycomb footbed makes it lighter and stronger. This increases the power transmission and reduces response time thus giving greater control.

THINNER SOLE FOR FEELING

Thinner sole lowers the center of gravity, to improve balance and sensitivity, so you can skate the edges.

LONGER ARCH FOR MORE CONTROL

The longer heel arch was inspired by Roman architecture, distributing forces over a longer axis to give the skater more control.

WATERPROOF DUAL DENSITY SOLE

The molded footbed is made of a nylon fiberglass structure that is resistant to humidity and temperature. The exclusively EDEA waterproof dual density sole was developed to help reduce the small vibrations of ice chatter.

4 Hook Lacing System

Galvanized hooks made from carbon steel are lower, longer, and have been repositioned to improve lacing, increasing movement range while wrapping the ankles. The 4th/bottom hook is to make it easier to tighten the instep and secure the skater’s heel into the heel pocket. For information on lacing click HERE.

THE FAMILY HISTORY

Skating is the family legacy, uniting the generations. Their grandfather started in his workshop making tailor-made shoes for the local residents and he garnered a reputation for making quality shoes. The next generation of the family was able to build on this excellence and created a successful skate company. It was only natural that the third generation would want to continue the search for the perfect skate.

Infused with the family passion, Sabrina started her own company with its unique philosophy in search of skating perfection. After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and her team of experts, the first Edea boots were released on February 2, 2002.

THE FUTURE

Skaters are always moving, pushing the art of what is possible. Each skater’s spins, twizzles and jumps are research, development, and testing for Edea. New materials, technology and thinking means the impossible is just an idea away. Their constant search for perfection means they stay ahead of the ordinary.
